| Bridging AZ Furniture Bank is the only Furniture Bank in Arizona. A Furniture bank is similar to a Food Bank except we provide furniture and household items to families in need. Our goal is to acquire 5,000 beds over the next five years. The beds we acquire will be provided to children of economically disadvantaged families who are transitioning out of hardship. The Bedrace is a community event that supports Bridging AZ and our efforts to provide clean and comfy beds for kids. | |

| The Great Bedrace for charity is a community event that supports Bridging AZ and our efforts to provide clean and comfy beds for kids. This event brings the community together for a fun, unique and hilarious fundraiser. *We even supply the professionally built beds on wheels! | |

| HOW | |
| The race involves rolling beds 100-yards down and 100-yards back up a street by the stage area of Tempe Marketplace. Individuals, groups, businesses, organizations, and clubs sponsor and/or race beds. Teams consist of four race-bed pushers and one in-bed rider all racing against the clock. Prizes are awarded for creativity, most money raised, fastest time, and people’s choice award ($1 a vote). We even supply the race beds! Sponsorships starting at $100 See our videos on YouTube. | |
